But yeah this Perfume Genius album is pretty good
I just listened to it out of a desire to occupy my morning without reading the bitchfork review and sort of expected some poppy stuff. It’s like if Sufjan Stevens and Jonsi had a baby and sang over some instrumentals from that one Sigur Ros album without a name (calling it ( ) or brackets or whatever feels weird). It also seems to have a sort of hopeful tone that reminds me of like Frightened Rabbit, sort of kind of.
Okay I just read up on it and after looking in to it it now feels really haunting and almost disturbing and it’s probably gonna be stuck in the back of my head all day
